It was a narrow escape for the Indian Cricket Team when a small plane crashed into a busy sports field in Sydney, the area just over 30 kilometers from where the Virat Kohli and the team have been staying in Australia. The incident reportedly occurred before 4:30 pm (local time) on Saturday, just two days after the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, and the rest of the players named in the squad, arrived at Sydney
stuff.co.nz reported that the plane sank in the field at Cromer Park and narrowly passed a sports shed where there were a dozen people. Fortunately, the two occupants of the plane escaped injured.
The all-format bilateral series between Smith-led ‘Baggy Greens’ and Virat Kohli-led India will get underway with 3-match ODIs, followed by as many T20 (T20I) internationals and four test matches. The mega sports tour is scheduled to run from November 20 to January 21.
The India tour of Australia will begin with the first ODI scheduled for November 27 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The second ODI also with the third and final match will be played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra (December 2).

Following the culmination of the ODI series, the ‘Men In Blue’ and ‘Green and Gold’ Brigade will meet in the three-match T20I series in Canberra (December 4) and Sydney (December 6.8). The final leg of the tour will see the two teams face off in the 4-match test series, which will be held at the Adelaide Oval from December 17th.
