India will host the third edition of the 2 + 2 ministerial dialogue with the US on October 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today.
US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper will visit India on October 26-27, 2020 to participate in the Dialogue. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and EAM S Jaishankar will lead the Defense Ministry and MEA delegations respectively, the ministry reported.

Next week’s 2 + 2 dialogue between the United States and India will focus on the challenges in the Indo-Pacific region and ways to overcome those challenges, said US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.
Speaking during a conversation with Frederick Kempe, president of the Atlantic Council on Tuesday (local time), Esper said: “Secretary Michael Pompeo and I will be there next week.
