The Indian cricketers landed in Sydney on Thursday for the upcoming tour of Australia, comprising three one-day internationals, three Twenty20 internationals and four test matches. The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) used Twitter to share photos of players arriving in Australia. “Dubai Airplane Sydney Hello Australia! #TeamIndia is here,” photos were captioned on Twitter. The BCCI also released photos of the players with their families when they arrived in Sydney, where all cricketers will undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine. “We have our army of little ones to help us overcome quarantine. #TeamIndia #AUSvIND,” the photos were captioned on Instagram.

On Wednesday, the BCCI tweeted images of the Indian contingent before their departure from Dubai.
All the players were seen wearing custom PPE kits and masks to travel amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The two-month tour begins with the ODI series, starting on November 27.
The four-game test series will see India play its first day and night test abroad. Adelaide Oval will host the day-night event.
Indian testing specialist Ishant Sharma, who is recovering from injury, will join the team only after proving his fitness at the National Cricket Academy.
Rohit Sharma, who recently led the Mumbai Indians to a record-setting fifth Indian Premier League title, has rested for the limited leg of the Australian tour.
Rohit suffered a hamstring injury during the league stages of the T20 league and was left off the tour initially, but in a revised team announcement, the board added him on the test team.

India’s wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha is also recovering from an injury he sustained during the 2020 IPL.
He has traveled with the team, but the BCCI previously announced that a call will be taken about his availability later.
