India reported more than 3,200 new circumstances of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and 128 deaths in the past 24 hours, as reported by the Union Welfare Ministry on Sunday morning.

According to the welfare ministry’s Covid-19 dashboard at 8 a.m., 62,939 people have been contaminated by the Sars-Cov-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, along with 2,109 deaths to date.

The number of people who have recovered was 19,357.

The widest variety of circumstances continued to be reported from Maharashtra, with more than 20,000 circumstances, Gujarat, Delhi and Tamil Nadu.

Union welfare minister Harsh Vardhan stated that India has now increased its testing capacity to 95,000 per day and to date 1,525,631 complete verifications have been carried out at 332 authorities and 121 non-public laboratories.

“We do not anticipate the worst kind of situation in our country like many other developed countries, but we have still prepared the entire country for the worst situation,” Harsh Vardhan said at a meeting to assess the situation of the Covid-19 outbreak in the Northeast States on Saturday.

Right now, authorities are specializing in 10 states that likely represent the widest variety of circumstances and have deployed core groups in 10 states that have witnessed or are experiencing an excess of cases and an excessive outbreak of circumstances.

“The teams will help the state health departments of the respective states facilitate the management of the outbreak,” the welfare ministry said in an announcement on Saturday.

Qualified groups include a high-ranking official from the welfare ministry, a joint secretary-level nodal officer, and a public welfare expert. These groups will likely be sent to Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Globally, the virus has now contaminated more than four million people and killed 279,313 people.
