India attacks OCI for “unjustified references” to J&K | India News

NEW DELHI: India lashed out at the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on Sunday, rejecting unwarranted references made in resolutions adopted at the 47th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).
“We strongly and categorically reject the objectively incorrect, gratuitous and unjustified references to India in the resolutions adopted by the Organization of the Islamic Conference at the 47th meeting of the CFM in Niamey, Republic of Niger, held from November 27 to 28, “the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
the MEA said the OIC “has no locus standi in strictly internal affairs of India, including the Union Territory of Jammu and cashmere“.
“It is regrettable that the OIC continues to allow a certain country, which has an abominable record of religious tolerance, radicalism and persecution of minorities, to use it to engage in propaganda against India. We strongly recommend that the OIC refrain from doing such references in the future, the MEA added.
