Wasim Jaffer’s knack for humor was already well established and when the former Indian cricketer was asked for a meme about Sunil Gavaskar’s boundless reaction to criticism of Indian pitches, Jaffer came up with a gem. Gavaskar lashed out at English cricket experts who had criticized the field of the third test between India and England in Ahmedabad. When Jaffer was asked to get a meme to describe Gavaskar’s emotions, he came up with a screenshot of a scene from the Bollywood movie. Hera pheri.

Gavaskar had a strong response to critics of the Ahmedabad speech and said that the Indian media should not pay attention to what the English experts have to say.
Citing the example of the first Test of India 2020-21 tour to Australia, where Indians were selected for their lowest test score of 36, Gavaskar said that any reaction to that score from Indian experts would not have been cited in the Australian media. .
So why is our media concerned about what the English experts have to say? Asked Gavaskar.
Jaffer, who has often highlighted his humorous play, had posted on Wednesday a scripted conversation between the England players as they set out to inspect the field the day before Test 4.

A debate has sparked over the fields used in the ongoing four-game series that has seen both English and Indian experts take sides.
While former England cricketers Michael Vaughan, Alastair Cook and Andrew Strauss criticized Motera’s pitch for the third round that ended in two days, India captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin refuted the claims of a rigged pitch and instead blamed hitters for poor application as the reason behind a two-day “bizarre” test.
