Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took to Instagram on Tuesday, following a win against England in the second round of the ongoing four-game series. “The picture says it all,” read the caption in a post by the cricketer on the social media platform. The post consisted of some footage from the game, with Ashwin seen in all of them. The hosts were victorious by a 317-run margin in the game held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The win saw them draw 1-1 in the four-game series, following a 227-run loss to England in the longest-format opener. The first match had been held in a similar way at the MA Chidambaram stadium.
Ashwin said he was grateful to everyone who had wished for him during the course of this Test.

Ashwin was named Man of the Match, for his impressive performances with both the bat and the ball in the second Test. The 34-year-old posted a five-wicket run in England’s first innings, after India was eliminated by 329 in 95.5 overs.

The roulette performance helped the hosts fire the English batters by a total of 134. Ashwin made his presence felt with the bat in the second inning, scoring 106 of 148 deliveries comprising 14 limits and six. India recorded a total of 286 and none of the other batsmen who excluded Virat Kohli were able to make a big impact, giving England a goal of 482 runs.
Ashwin followed his ton with three wickets in the second inning as England failed to cross the 200-run mark in both innings after being eliminated by 164.
