The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) summoned Cornerstone CEO Bunty Sajdeh on Thursday in what can be seen as the central agency’s first major step in investigating any potential link between Sushant Singh Rajput’s case and the death of Disha Salian.
Before her passing, Disha Salian worked with Bunty Sajdeh’s talent management company, Cornerstone, which cared for Sushant Singh Rajput. According to sources, Bunty Sajdeh is currently in the DRDO guest house of the CBI and will be questioned by the central agency.
Pithani Reveals Cornerstone CEO Name
Republic Media Network accessed Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani’s first statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), revealing explosive details about the angles under the scanner of the investigative agency investigating the death of the actor. In the statement made available to Republic TV, among other things, Pithani said that Sushant “felt bad” after learning of the death of his manager Disha Salian on June 9.
Pithani, who has been questioned by the CBI since the investigation began, had previously told Republic TV that he had given the agency ‘names’. According to the statement, Pithani told CBI that Sushant spoke to Uday, a manager at a company called Cornerstone, shortly after hearing the news of Disha’s death. He also said that Sushant was so tense that he asked Pithani to sleep in his room and wanted to know every detail about Salian’s death, to which Pithani complied.
Disha’s death and the questions raised thus far
A week ago, CBI sources told Republic TV that the investigating authority is eager to determine whether Disha’s death was due to suicide or was murder. This aspect of the investigation will play a crucial role in examining the chronology of the events that led to SSR’s death.
Disha Salian allegedly jumped from the fourteenth floor of a building in Mumbai Malad on June 8. Numerous questions have been raised about police claims that it was a suicide, from Sushant’s politicians, family and friends to activists, and even more so, why the Mumbai police did not attempt to determine whether there was a link to the two deaths. . Sushant’s family has also alleged that they feared Rhea Chakraborty would implicate him in Disha’s death.
