Suryakumar Yadav, who was overlooked during the tour from India to Australia, broke an undefeated half-century to help the Mumbai Indians beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. Suryakumar showed composure and even kept his cool when RCB captain Virat Kohli tried to divert him from his game by sledding the Mumbai Indians batsman. A video of Wednesday’s clash is going viral on social media in which Virat Kohli can be seen walking toward Suryakumar in an attempt to sled him, but the first-order hitter remained calm and walked away.

In the match, chasing a goal of 165, the Mumbai Indians passed the line with five wickets in hand.
Suryakumar Yadav was the star of the night with a fluid hit of 79 in just 43 deliveries. He reached 10 limits and three highs during his stay in the middle.
Suryakumar was declared Man of the Match for his batting heroics that saw Mumbai consolidate its position atop the 2020 Indian Premier League points table.
Previously, after being sent to bat, the Virat Kohli-led RCB could only post a sub-par total of 164 for six of their assigned 20 overs.

Devdutt Padikkal was the star with RCB’s bat. The left-handed starter scored 74 runs on 45 balls.
Jasprit Bumrah was the bowlers’ choice when he returned three-for-14 from his quota of four overs at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
