‘If they stop being obsessed with me’: Kangana Ranaut’s mockery of the Maharashtra government

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who has been in a fight with the Shiv Sena, criticized the Maharashtra government on Monday after at least 10 people were killed in a building collapse in the city of Bhiwandi, in the western state of the state.

Ranaut’s latest comments against the state government came after a Twitter user shared an article about the collapse of a three-story building in Bhiwandi that tagged the actor’s team. “In the meantime, the Maharashtra government kkkk-kNgnaa ….. if they stop obsessing over me, they will know how the whole state is collapsing,” Ranaut replied on Twitter.

Painful scenes! It happens when the Maharashtra government only has time to dismantle the @ KanganaTeam office! #Maharashtra #Bhiwandi ”, the user tweeted.

At least 10 people died after a three-story building collapsed in the Patel Compound area in Bhiwandi. The building collapsed around 3:40 am.

Ranaut’s tweet also came days after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished his office in the city. His office in Pali Hill, Bandra was partially demolished by the civic body on September 10. He had filed a motion with the Bombay High Court against the demolition of what BMC called “illegal alterations” to his office.

The civic body had previously filed an affidavit in the superior court, saying that Ranaut had made substantial modifications and additions to the property illegally and that his accusations against him were “unfounded.”

Ranaut has been at odds with the Maharashtra government since criticizing the Mumbai police’s handling of the investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. He referred to Mumbai as “Pakistani-Occupied Kashmir” and “Pakistan” and sparked a political controversy.

The state’s ruling alliance has accused her of carrying out the political agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Ranaut received security from the Center run by the BJP in the middle of his dispute with the leaders of the Seine.
