The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will hold the November CA exam tomorrow November 21st. More than 4.3 million candidates are reportedly registered for the exam which will be held at 1,085 centers. The exam will take place between November 21 and December 14.
ICAI has changed the headquarters of five exam centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Tirunelveli, Chennai. Candidates are advised to consult the official notice of the revised test center. Admission cards already issued for the exam will continue to be valid for the new venue as well. All other details remain unchanged.
All candidates should keep in mind that if they have COVID-19, they will not have to sit for the next exams and will not be allowed to enter the test center.
ICAI will also conduct a separate exam starting January 21, 2021 in addition to the May 2021 exam. Students who have an impact on Covid-19 can opt out at any time until the last day of the exam and appear in the next exam in January or May 2021. To opt out, it is not necessary to present any document (only self-declaration is required) and for that an online window is provided.
In addition, certain queries were raised regarding the possibility that the eligible books / study materials in document -6 (elective paper) in the Final Course (New) is an open book exam. It is clarified that the same will be allowed ”, says the statement.
