The Indian Air Force (IAF) has shown its dislike for the IAF uniform incorrectly worn in the promo clip for the Netflix movie AK vs AK. IAF has asked manufacturers to remove the scenes.

Within days of the release of its trailer, Netflix’s AK vs. AK has entered a controversy. Indian Air Force (IAF) has taken to Twitter to show their disgust at the recently released promo clip of Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap starring AK vs AK. In the clip, Anil is seen in the IAF uniform. The IAF has complained that the uniform is dressed incorrectly and that the language used in the clip is inappropriate. They have asked the filmmakers to remove related scenes from the film.

Quoting Anil Kapoor’s tweet, the official nickname of the Indian Air Force wrote: “The IAF uniform in this video is not worn correctly and the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the standards of behavior of those in the Indian Armed Forces. Related scenes should be removed. @NetflixIndia @ anuragkashyap72 #AkvsAk (sic) “.

AK VS AK TRAILER
The trailer for AK vs AK was released on December 7. The movie sees Anil and Anurag playing real life characters. The trailer begins with a fight between Anil and Anurag, after which Anurag kidnaps Sonam Kapoor, Anil’s daughter, just to teach her a lesson.
The AK vs AK scenes in question, which the IAF has a problem with, sees Anil Kapoor in a blue shirt adorning IAF insignia and insignia that resemble the IAF uniform. In these scenes, Anil is filming a movie when Anurag bursts in and tells the actor that he has kidnapped his daughter Sonam Kapoor. He also says that Anil only has 10 hours to save his daughter.

AK vs AK is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. It will begin streaming on Netflix on December 24.
