I do not long for CM publication, says Palaniswami | India News

NAMAKKAL: Tamil nadu chief minister K Palaniswami On Tuesday he said he does not look forward to the CM position and considers himself someone who is “in charge” of executing the task that people assign him.
the AIADMK leader said his role as chief minister it was only to serve the people as what remains forever are one’s good works.
The prime minister, who launched “Vetrinadai Podum Tamizhagam” (Tamil Nadu leading the way), his election campaign in Rasipuram in this district, said that the people are the real prime minister.
“Before I was introduced as the prime minister. But I see all of you as the prime minister. The people are the true prime ministers because you gave me this position that I accepted as a manager to serve you, to carry out the task that you assign me.”
“Like others, I do not long for the prime minister’s chair because, coming from a village, I want to work hard,” Palaniswami said amid thunderous applause from party workers who had gathered in large numbers.
He said he came to life thanks to hard work.
“I came working hard and I thank our leaders (deceased senior ministers) MG Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa for this. What remains eternal is our achievements.”
“This is what our two leaders have left behind with their good deeds,” said Palaniswami, whom the ruling AIADMK has announced as the top ministerial candidate for the 2021 elections.
He is also co-coordinator of AIADMK.
Training his weapons against MK Stalin, the prime minister accused the head of DMK of spreading misinformation that AIADMK party men are involved in door-to-door distribution of tokens to collect Pongal’s gift of Rs 2,500.
Stalin was spreading false information because he couldn’t digest the fact that Pongal’s cash gifting scheme received an overwhelming response from people, he alleged.
His government had announced a Pongal cash gift of 2,500 rupees and baskets for all rice card holders in the state.
“It does it because AIADMK will earn a good reputation among the people,” he said.
Last year, the DMK went to court to try to stop the distribution of 1,000 rupees in cash to ration card holders, as that party did not like to do good things for people, Palaniswami said, adding that it had announced A cash donation of Rs 2,500 to enable affected people to celebrate Pongal with joy.
Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa always wanted the poor to live happily, and therefore the current AIADMK government is fulfilling their wish.
Palaniswami, who previously offered prayers at the Anjaneyar temple in Namakkal, called on the people to vote in favor of the Two Leaves, the symbol of AIADMK, in next year’s assembly elections, to be held in April-May.
Also present were the Minister of Electricity, P Thangamani, the Minister of Transport, MR Vijayabaskar, and the Minister of Social Welfare, Dr. V Saroja, and MLA.
