Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya, who was recently summoned by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case on Sunday, claimed that he never met the actor, but that he met Rhea Chakraborty in 2017.
“I have no connection to the case. I never met Sushant Singh Rajput. I met her (Rhea) in 2017,” Gaurav Arya said at Goa airport as he departed for Mumbai.
Arya, owner of The Tamarind hotel in Anjuna, Goa, has been asked to appear before the ED before August 31st.
On Friday, the Emergency Department posted a notice at Gaurav Arya’s hotel requesting that he appear before the agency before August 31. Emergency Department officials had posted the notice on the hotel door after they were unable to meet with the hotelier.
The notice stated that Mr. Arya had to appear before the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Enforcement, Rajiv Kumar, at 11 am on August 31 in connection with the case registered under the provisions of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering. Capitals of 2002.
On July 31, the agency filed a Compliance Case Information Report (ECIR) in the case after KK Singh, the late actor’s father, filed a First Information Report (FIR) against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar. the 28th of July.
