Hyundai India had already received 14,000 pre-reservations for the new Crete.
The new Hyundai Crete is the most important launch not only for Hyundai India, perhaps also for the Indian market this year. Hyundai India had already received 14,000 advance reservations for second-generation Crete prior to launch and has now confirmed to have received almost 20,000 reservations for it.

The company had previously confirmed that it had shipped 6,703 units of new Crete to its distributors across India and expects to send more than 10,000 units per month to distributors across the country, which will meet market demand.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta is offered in 14 variants in 5 trim levels: E, EX, S, SX, and SX (O) and is available with three engine options. First there is the 1.5-liter gasoline engine that emits 113 hp and 144 Nm and is offered with an iVT automatic transmission. The 1.4-liter GDI Turbo petrol engine emits 138 hp and 242 Nm and is mated to a seven-speed DCT transmission. There’s also the 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 113 hp and 250 Nm of maximum torque and gets a 6-speed automatic gearbox with torque converter. All three engines have a six-speed manual transmission as standard. While 12 percent of total reserves have been for Turbo gasoline variants, 55 percent is attributed to BS6 diesel variants.
