The 3 rd-gen i20 will be offered in 3 engine options- gasoline, diesel and turbo gasoline. The 1.2-liter gasoline engine manages to produce 83 hp of power and offers 114 Nm of torque and when combined with the IVT, it manages to produce 88 hp of power and offers 114 Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter diesel engine manages to produce 100 hp of power and offers 240 Nm of torque. The 1.0-liter petrol turbo generates 120 hp of power and offers 171 Nm of torque and is paired with 7-speed or 6-speed DCT. IM T. The turbo variant registers 0-100 km / h in 9.9 seconds.
The 2021 i20 adopts the new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language and looks quite a bit sleeker and bolder than all of its predecessors as it discards the previously boxy design. The new avatar looks quite streamlined and the bold details give it an overall aggressive character. The sharp LED headlights with DRLs, LED fog lights, LED Z-shaped taillights, raised hood with strong character lines, chrome flyback waistband, shark fin antenna and black accents on the Parametric jewel-patterned front grille give the hatchback a slightly muscular look.
Inside the cabin, the hatchback looks quite attractive with the blue ambient lighting and the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster combined with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
