Perhaps hoping to land a bigger role in the next one, Huma Qureshi has agreed to do a very special song and dance number at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s sub-production direction. Gangubai Kathiawadi.
This is certainly a great opportunity for Ms. Qureshi. Now all that remains to be seen is whether it is as beneficial to Huma as the dance number in Ram Leela it was for Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Says a source close to the development, “Sanjay wanted a dancer who could get excited by the evocative lyrics. Huma is not doing a Mujra in the movie. It’s a more earthy and obscene article number. “
It is not known exactly that Huma’s dance skills set the screen ablaze. But, with Bhansali around, anything can happen.
