According to unofficial data, at least 12 have been killed in Bengal due to the ‘super cyclone’.

Amphan, the first tropical cyclone of the decade of the 2020 season in the North of India basin, has made the land in India yesterday.

The cyclone that ravaged through parts of Bengal and Orissa, brought heavy rains, winds, thunder and lightning.

Power supply and the 4G network in Kolkata has been severely hit by the cyclone Amphan as the West Bengal Governor called the disaster as ” one of the worst storm in decades.’

According to unofficial data, at least 12 have been killed in Bengal due to the ‘super cyclone’.

Photos of Bengal and Orissa on Twitter show the pure root of the damage left by the cyclone.

The Meteorological Department of India has said that the storm is likely to maintain its intensity until the morning of May 21 (today). However, it soon weakened into a deep depression over Bangladesh.
