Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the launch of the new H’ness CB 350. The retro-styled motorcycle, which will be sold through the company’s BigWing dealers, is available from Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. . Here we list the five highlights of the new Honda H’ness CB 350.
Design
The new Honda H’ness CB 350 features a retro look consisting of a circular headlight, round rear-view mirrors and various chrome details. Chrome treatment is visible on the headlight bezel, fenders, engine crankcase and exhaust. Other styling features include a teardrop fuel tank, one-piece seat, wide handlebar, and cut-out fenders.
The Honda H’ness CB 350 will be available in two variants: DLX and DLX Pro. The DLX variant will be sold in three color options: red, black and green. The DLX Pro, on the other hand, will be available in three two-tone paint schemes: black with silver, blue with white, and black with gray.
Features
Adding a touch of modernity to the package is the LED headlight, LED taillight and a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth. The motorcycle’s Bluetooth technology provides access to features such as calls, music, messages, navigation, and weather information. Other data that is available on the display includes average fuel economy, real-time fuel economy, distance to empty, battery voltage meter, and gear position indicator. The DLX Pro variant further benefits from Honda’s smartphone voice control system.
Safety net
The new H’ness CB 350’s safety net includes dual-channel ABS, Honda selectable torque control, sidestand engine inhibitor, and a hazard light switch.
Motor
The motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled 348.36cc single-cylinder engine. Linked to an assisted five-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, the engine is tuned to produce 20.8 hp at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
Hardware
The CB 350 is built around a double cradle steel frame. The suspension setup of the motorcycle consists of telescopic front forks and dual springs at the rear. Anchoring tasks are performed by a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The H’ness rides on a 19-18-inch alloy wheel wrapped in 100/90 section front and 130/70 section rear tires.
