SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by seven runs in match 14 of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. Priyam Garg was the highest run scorer for SRH, scoring 51 runs from 26 deliveries in an inning spanning six limits and six. Garg teamed up with all-rounder Abhishek Sharma (31) to help SRH post a solid total, following cheap layoffs from players like Jonny Bairstow, David Warner and Kane Williamson. Pacer Deepak Chahar was the bowlers’ choice for CSK, representing two wickets and conceding 31 runs. In return, Ravindra Jadeja made his presence felt in the Chennai-based franchise by scoring his first half-century in the IPL, following a poor top flight performance. Captain MS Dhoni tried to continue attacking for CSK after Jadeja was sent off, remaining undefeated at 47 but failed to finish the game.
