SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by six wickets in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) qualifier to enter Qualifier 2. Kane Williamson scored his 14th IPL half a century to help SRH cross the line, after being delivered a goal of 132 runs. Williamson was supported by Jason Holder, who chimed in with a nice cameo in the order. Mohammed Siraj was the bowlers’ pick, representing two terrains. Previously, RCB posted a total of 131 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, after being sent to bat. South African batter AB de Villiers was the leading scorer in runs, scoring 56 runs in 43 deliveries. De Villiers’ coup consisted of five limits. The goalie-batter was supported by Australian starter Aaron Finch, who contributed 32 of 30. None of the other hitters made a hit, and captain Virat Kohli was sacked for just 6.
