NTA NEET 2020 result: The result of the National Income Eligibility Test (NEET 2020) will be announced on October 16 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). More than 14.37 lakh of candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam on September 13 can verify the results through the websites. nta.ac.in, ntaneet.nic.in. Students will need to enter their list number mentioned on the admission card to see their score card.

The NTA also conducted a new examination on October 14 following the order of the Supreme Court. On Wednesday’s test, the physics section was rated difficult. To qualify for MBBS / BSD courses, candidates must achieve a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those in the reserved categories, including SC and ST categories, the minimum scores are the 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is the 45th percentile. Candidates who qualify for counseling are those who are below 15% of all positions in the Indian quota. The NTA will forward the list of selected candidates to the DG of Health Services, medical examination cell of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Special fee for victims of terrorist attacks

This year, the government has introduced a quota for family members of those affected by terrorist attacks on MBBS and BDS admissions. The children of those individuals who are exposed to substantive risks due to their assignment primarily related to the fight against acts of terrorism, the children of individuals who have reached the ‘target list’ of terrorist organizations, and the children of those families who have migrated from Kashmir due to the current situation and have lost their livelihood, including their business or use of their properties, they are also eligible for the MBBS and BDS core seating group.
