Real Madrid winger Marcelo joked that some reports claimed he was already a Juventus player when Cristiano Ronaldo joined Bianconeri.
The 31-year-old was speaking through Instagram and confessed that he has no desire to leave Real any time soon, despite Juve’s interest.
“I don’t want to leave and I don’t think Madrid will leave me anyway,” he told Fabio Cannavaro on Instagram.
“I am very happy here. Since I came here with my family, it has been incredible. I really do not know if it is true that Juve wanted to sign me to be honest.”
Marcelo was closely related to a change to Turin two years ago when Ronaldo made the switch from La Liga to Serie A.
“A couple of years ago I heard that I had signed with Juve, that I had already put on the Juve shirt and that I could not live without Cristiano!
“People invent many things. Everything was fine with me, as I saw that some Juve fans liked the idea of me joining. ”
