The relatives of the victim appear before HC; next hearing on November 2
On Monday morning, the victim’s relatives, including the father, mother and three siblings, were rushed to Allahabad High Court amid tight security from Hathras. The relatives appeared before the Lucknow court of the Allahabad High Court, which set 2 November as the next hearing date.
They were heard by judges Pankaj Mithal and Rajan Roy on Monday.
The court had summoned the additional chief clerk, at home; the Director General of Police; ADG, Law and Order; and the District Magistrate and the Hathras Police Superintendent to provide the status report of the investigation of the case.

The Congress party stepped up its attack on the state government, accusing it of being callous towards the case.
