Hathras case: Kangana Ranaut expresses ‘immense faith’ in UP CM


Actress Kangana Ranaut expressed her “immense faith” in Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, and said on Wednesday that she wants Hathras rapists to be executed in the same way that Priyanka Reddy rapists were punished.

He took to Twitter to give his opinion on the case and said that he wants “emotional, instinctive and impulsive justice” for the Hathras rapists.

“I have immense faith in @myogiadityanath ji, how Priyanka Reddy’s rapists were shot and killed in the same place they raped her and burned her alive. We want the same emotional, instinctive and impulsive justice for #HathrasHorror #HathrasHorrorShocksIndia”, tweeted.

Priyanka Reddy was a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad who was gang-raped and murdered in November 2019.

The 19-year-old Dalit woman, who was gang-raped in Hathras of Uttar Pradesh, died Tuesday morning at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

The woman was gang-raped in Hathras on September 14, 2020, and was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi to improve health care facilities.

All four defendants implicated on September 14 for gang rape have been arrested.
