Tottenham Hotspur, who head the Premier League table, have finally shared their secret warm-up routine. With Joe Hart swinging his left arm fast, Harry Kane hitting the short balls, and Gareth Bale on slips, the soccer team begins their practice playing cricket.

Recently, the English club’s Twitter user shared a clip and England cricketers are in awe.

Harry Kane went one step further and pitched straight to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore of the Indian Premier League (IPL), under Virat Kohli. Kane tweeted: “I think I have a match-winning T20 hit. Any place for @RCBTweets at @IPL next season @imVkohli?

Kohli replied, “Maybe we can get you in as a counter hitter.”

Stuart Broad stated that Kane played short ball better than he has managed despite trying for 13 years. This was in response to Kevin O’Brien’s tweet in which he confessed that Kane was playing short ball more masterfully than he was while playing Broad’s deliveries. The cricketer wrote: “H. Kane played that short ball better than I played yours at Lords! “

Broad also spoke about the cricket rivalry seen between Hart and Kane.

Kevin Pietersen was impressed with Joe Hart’s left arm closer.

Another cricketer from England who was visibly impressed by the skills of the footballers was Ben Stokes. He extended an invitation to meet on social media next summer. He wrote: “I love these guys. Fancy a network next summer?

Kane and José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur are in good shape so far this season. They have won six of the nine games played so far with only defeat. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur is set to open its stadium to 2,000 fans for the first time since March this year. The occasion is the Premier League clash with Arsenal on December 6.

With Kane scoring fluently, Kohli may just want to accept the offer.
