About a couple of months ago, Harley-Davidson announced its exit from the Indian market. The company entered into a partnership and distribution agreement with Hero MotoCorp for the sale and maintenance of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, sale of spare parts and accessories, as well as general merchandise, riding equipment and clothing through a network of exclusive Harley-Davidson distributors. We are working closely with Hero. to ensure a smooth transition for our motorcyclists. We are providing our motorcyclists with available updates and have assured them that sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, parts and accessories and general merchandise, as well as after-sales services, warranty and activities of the HOG will continue as of January 2021. “

The statement makes it clear that HD India will continue its operation in India according to plan. The good news is that Harley is also aiming to resume the activities of the HOG (Harley Owners Group). Additionally, the company is committed to keeping passengers informed of updates when they become available. Furthermore, the company also says that it will continue to launch new motorcycles in India under its agreement with Hero MotoCorp.

Current Harley-Davidson dealerships will continue operations through December 31, 2020 with new dealers and service points to be announced later.
