Anne appeared on The Last Thing He Wanted with Ben Affleck in February. The film premiered on Netflix and received no positive reviews. His latest film is the remake of Witches and is already involved in a controversy.
The film provoked a huge reaction from the disabled community and Anne even had to apologize for it. The evil witches in the Warner Bros. movie, including the coven leader played by Anne, are considered to have only three fingers. The design of the fingers resembles ectrodactyly, also known as a split or cleft hand, which is a disability of the extremities.
Several social media users have objected to the rendering of the limb being as disrespectful as it was used to portray Anne’s character as non-human. He took to Instagram to share a video from the Luck Fin project featuring people with limb differences.
He wrote a long text dedicated to people with disabilities and apologized to the community for offending them with his film. She began the note by saying that she always does her best to be “sensitive” to the feelings and experiences of others.
“I recently learned that many people with limb differences, especially children, feel pain due to the depiction of the Grand High Witch in The Witches,” he wrote. “Let me start by saying that I do my best to be sensitive to the feelings and experiences of others, not because of a fear of PC, but because not hurting others seems like a basic level of decency that we should all strive for” its legend read more.

“In particular, I want to say that I feel sorry for children with limb differences: now that I know better, I promise I will do better. The Witches launched on October 22 on HBO Max, which is Warner Bros. ‘sister streaming service. It was previously slated for theatrical release before the coronavirus induced theaters to close in March.
