Singer Guru Randhawa and cricketer Suresh Raina, among other celebrities, were booked Monday night for violating COVID regulations. According to Mirror Now, Sussanne Khan was also hired with other celebrities at the party when the raid took place at 2:30 a.m. The raids followed a raid on a pub to keep it open beyond the time limit allowed. Guru Randhawa and Suresh Raina were later released on bail.

Quoting the Mumbai police, ANI had posted on Twitter: “They were later released on bail. “Police search 34 people, including cricketer Suresh Raina and some other celebrities, under IPC Section 188, 269, 34 and NMDA regulations after a raid on the Dragonfly pub for keeping the establishment open beyond of the allowed time limit and not following the COVID regulations. ”

Recently, Guru Randhawa made headlines when he announced that his song had been postponed in respect of the ongoing farmers’ protest.
