Antoine Griezmann was quite honest when it came to talking about his goal for Barcelona in Sunday’s 4-0 win over Osasuna at the Camp Nou.
The Frenchman scored a striking goal to make it 2-0, returning home from outside the area in the 42nd minute after Martin Braithwaite opened the scoring.
It was an impressive performance from Griezmann, who also prepared Philippe Coutinho for Barça’s third, and offered his thoughts after the match.
“He is one of those that either flies in or enters the stands … luckily he has entered today.
“This morning, I was having breakfast with my daughter and I asked her how she would like me to celebrate a goal. She told me to do this and that’s how it happened!
“It was an important victory because the top guys keep winning and we have to be close to them. We know that the season is long and we want to be champions. Looking at how we play in the Champions League and again today, there is reason to believe that we can achieve that goal. ”

Coach Ronald Koeman was also impressed by Griezmann’s performance and praised the French international after the final whistle.
“Today he seemed like the player we all want to see, someone who fights, who works hard and is effective in front of goal.
“He played with great freedom, gave an assist and scored a great goal. He has not changed, he has always worked as hard as he could, but today he has created much more space with his movement. And his goal will surely give him confidence ”.

Griezman now has four goals and two assists in his last six games for Barça in all competitions and appears to have found some form after a slow start to the 2020-21 campaign.
