Govinda has issued a statement after Krushna Abhishek claimed that Govinda did not respond when contacted during the confinement and even went to see his sick twins.
Govinda said that he has often been a scapegoat for the slanderous remarks by Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah.
Krushna Abhishek, who is part of the main cast of The Kapil Sharma Show, did not appear in an episode that featured his mother Govinda. In an interview, Krushna said that the last time Govinda and his wife Sunita were on the show, they didn’t want him to be a part of the show and this time he had reservations. He also said that he tried to contact his mother during the confinement and accused him of not visiting his twins who were not well.

Now, Govinda has issued a statement where he has mentioned that he visited the hospital when the twins were hospitalized and had met with the doctor and nurse who treated them. The statement reads: “I am very sad to publish this press statement, but I firmly believe that it is time for the truth to come out. I read the news on the front page of a major newspaper about my nephew Krushna Abhishek not showing up. on a popular TV show as I was invited as a guest there. He chose not to participate because he had some reservations. He later went ahead and testified in the media about his belief in our relationship. This statement had slanderous comments and was issued with just a little thought. It had a snowball effect as it was voyeuristic in nature. “
GOOD TO MEET KRUSHNA’S SICK TWINS
The statement further reads: “Krushna wrongly claimed that I did not go to see his twins. I, along with my family, went to see his twins in the hospital and met the doctor (Doctor Awasthi) and the nurse who cared for them. The nurse told me that the children’s mother, Kashmira Shah, never wanted any of the family members to come to see the surrogate babies. Upon further insistence, they made us see the babies from a long distance. However, with heavy heart, I strongly feel that Krushna does not know about this incident. One can feel free to connect with the doctor and nurse and get to know the truth. Krushna also came to our house with the children and Aarti Singh , which he forgot to mention in the statement. “

Govinda also mentioned how Krushna and his wife Kashmera have regularly defamed him in the media. “Be it Krushna or Kashmira, I have been a scapegoat for their slanderous comments and statements against me frequently, most of them in the media and some in the shows and performances they do. I don’t understand why this slander is done repeatedly. and what are they gaining from the same thing. My relationship with Krushna was very strong since he was a little boy. My adulation for him was unparalleled and my family and people in the industry witness the same. I Believe I firmly believe that doing laundry in public is an indication of insecurity and allows outsiders to take advantage of a family’s misunderstandings, “he added.
Govinda also said that now he would like to keep his distance from Krushna Abhishek and would want him to do the same.
