Comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek recently opted out of a popular comedy show because his uncle Govinda was going to appear as a guest. In an interview, Krushna said that he loves Govinda too much to face him right now, as their relationships are sour.
In reaction to Krushna’s statement and his decision not to act in his presence, Govinda said he was “completely saddened” with his “thoughtless and defamatory remarks”, but “it was about time the truth came out.” In a statement given to SpotboyE, Govinda clarified that he has been a ‘scapegoat’ for comments by Krushna and his wife Kashmera Shah against him. “I don’t understand why this slander is done repeatedly,” Govinda told the entertainment portal.
Speaking of Krushna’s children, Govinda clarified that in fact he went to meet the twins at the hospital together with his family and met the doctor and nurse who were in charge of the children. Govinda revealed that Kashmera never wanted him to meet the surrogate babies, the nurse said, but they still managed to see them from a distance. “I strongly feel that Krushna is unaware of this incident,” Govinda told SpotboyE. Krushna’s children, Rayaan and Krishaang, were born in 2017.
Govinda further said that his relationship with Krushna has been very strong since he was a child and he firmly believes that “washing dirty clothes in public is an indication of insecurity and allows outsiders to take advantage of family misunderstandings.” The ‘PartnerThe actor concluded by saying that he would now maintain an ‘elegant distance’.
