To update: Normalcy has been restored as popular Google services, including Gmail and YouTube, come back online after suffering a global outage on Monday. The Google workspace status panel has also been updated to reflect that all Google services now work without any issues. The exact reason behind the outage is unclear at this time.
Google is down! Users around the world report problems with Google websites and services, including Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Meet, and Google Drive. When logging in to Gmail, I get the error message “Sorry, your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes.”
Signing in to YouTube also displays an error panel saying “something went wrong.”
To update: the @TeamYouTube handle tweeted, was aware of the issue and was investigating it.
We are aware that many of you are having trouble accessing YouTube at this time; our team knows and is looking into it. We will update it here as soon as we have more news.

Google Search seems to be working fine at the moment, but this could be something unique, as people have also been reporting problems with Search on the microblogging website Twitter.
Some users are also facing issues accessing Google Drive and Google Meet, suggesting a larger and larger outage that will affect major Google services.
As a result, third-party applications and services that rely on Google to log in also appear to be affected.
In India, the outage appears to have started around 5:00 pm, according to tracking website Downdetector.
Google has yet to formally acknowledge the issue, although heading to the Google Workspace Status Dashboard gives us a good idea of which services are experiencing an outage. It seems that the problem is related to Google accounts, rather than the Google services themselves. For example, one can access some Google services by going into incognito mode. In addition, some of these Google services can be accessed if you are not logged in.
