Tanuja is the only student who has obtained a 100 percentile in JEE Main 2020

JEE Main 2020: Tanuja Chakku is the only student who has obtained a 100 percentile in JEE Main 2020 Result along with 23 male students from across the country. The daughter of public school teachers, Tanuja told indianexpress.com that it was her love for her subjects that made her accomplish the feat.

“It is a belief that girls cannot decipher Advanced or JEE (Main), but there are many social factors associated with a girl’s education that are not available to boys. Girls should also aim higher and get a 100 percentile. This is not the end point but the beginning, “said the topper.

Tanuja had also tried the January session of JEE Main in which she scored 99.995 percentage points. She showed up again for the September attempt despite the pandemic, as she wanted to practice her skills after the long stop. “The long confinement was more like a vacation. Whereas before I used to spend around 12 hours a day studying, it was reduced to 8 to 10 hours during the pandemic, but I wanted to stay focused, so I studied daily, ”she said. During the confinement, to keep calm, she also began practicing western dance as a hobby.

The 17-year-old said that she had divided her time preparing JEE Advanced and JEE Main. “As a long time passed, it was not possible to read and reread over and over again, I shifted my attention more to the sample works. Trying sample jobs kept me motivated and writing frequently in an exam-like setting gave me more confidence during the test, ”she said.

Tanuja said that what works best during preparation are self-prepared notes. If one can clarify the concepts in mind beforehand and manage the time during the exam, one can break the entrance tests. The mock tests are also critical and even more is to learn from every mistake made in the mock tests, ”said the Telangana resident.

His goal is to study computer science at IIT-Bombay. “I love math and computer science will help me put math into logic application. I want to study at IIT-Bombay as I have heard from older people that IIT is the best. “

JEE Advanced, he says, is a test of time and knowledge. “JEE Main is comparatively easier than Advanced, since we have more time to solve each question. I am afraid that I will not be able to finish the exam, however the goal is to be more precise in the questions I try. I usually start with physics first, then chemistry, and then math last because sometimes it’s long.

Tanuja also has a sister who would appear for NEET tomorrow.
