According to the screenshots of the alleged chats between the members of the group in the public domain, a minor was identified and detained immediately after the case was registered and the mobile phone used in the commission of the crime was seized. Details of other members of that group were obtained from their educational institutions, as well as from friends and acquaintances. The group’s administrator, a Noida resident, was arrested the day after the case was registered. So far, more than twenty-four students related to the case have been interviewed / examined and the connected devices have been seized and sent for forensic analysis.
