Jawalkar said that all preparations for the Dehradun-Mussoorie cable car have been completed at the Department of Tourism level. A contractual agreement has been signed with a private company for this project and work will begin soon after the environmental authorization of the interested departments.

“With the construction of this cable car, on the one hand, tourists will be able to enjoy the thrill of traveling by plane while contemplating the greenery of the mountains and, on the other hand, they will be able to avoid the problems of atmospheric pollution, carbon emissions and traffic jams in the Dehradun-Mussoorie route, ”said the secretary.
