NEET paper analysis: ‘easy’ overview document with NCERT content-based questions

The NEET 2020 exam took place today, September 13, from 2 pm to 5 pm The question document had ‘easy questions’ based primarily on topics from the NCERT textbooks, based on the analysis of the NEET document by expert Anurag Tiwari, National Academic Director (Medical), Aakash Educational Services Limited. The NEET essay had 180 questions for a total of 720 points. For each correct answer, candidates will receive 4 points. For each incorrect answer, 1 point will be deducted. For questions that remain unsolved, no points will be awarded or deducted.

The official NEET 2020 answer key will be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the lead agency for NEET 2020. Although the answer key was released after a month last year, it can be expected sooner. this year as JEE Main The answer key was published in two days. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has already delayed the exam.

It is not very long. Students must have completed the Chemistry part in 45 minutes. Enough time for review.

An average student should have been able to try approximately 40 questions with ease. While others could have tried 44 questions.

Botany

The level of difficulty was high compared to previous years.

Class 11 – 25 questions, Class 12 – 19 questions

Two questions were beyond the NCERT textbooks.

Most of the questions were conceptual in nature with some fact-based questions as well.

Zoology

Difficulty level: moderate with some exceptions.

Multiconceptual questions that require sharp thinking and precision. Some questions were complicated and got lost in terminology.

A couple of terms beyond the NCERT domain.

Two questions required language skills.

Overall, the questions were quite challenging and required alertness and critical focus.
