A day after the styrene gas was leaked, 11 people died in the RR Venkatapuram area of Gopalapatnam in Visakhapatnam, latest reports say that gases began to leak from the tanker gas on Thursday.

The gas, identified as styrene, is also called vinylbenzene, and is used in the manufacture of polystyrene, fiberglass, rubber, and latex plastics.
He further said that 10 more fire bids, including 2 foam bids, are currently present at the scene and ambulances are ready for any emergency.
On Thursday, a leak of chemical vapor from LG Polymers on the outskirts of the coastal city killed 11 people. More than 350 people who inhaled the toxic substance had to be hospitalized.
