The Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, also attacked Kamal Nath for failing to carry out the development under the excuse of empty coffers.
In one of the demonstrations on Wednesday, he said: “I am not Kamal Nath, who does not give a penny for development. I assure you the development of Anuppur. Kamal Nath used to say that Mom had emptied the state coffers, but I said no it is the treasure of Aurangzeb that can be emptied. “
But in a boundless election, the repeated references to “Gaddari” or betrayals are a direct reference to the history of the region and the fact that of these 28 seats, 16 are in the stronghold of Scindia.
