NEW DELHI: Former Union Minister and Senior Congress Leader Buta singh (86) dies.
He had been in a coma since October last year when he was admitted to the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
The leader’s son, Arvinder Singh Lovely Sidhu, took to Facebook to report his father’s passing.
“My father, Buta Singh, passed away this morning. May Waheguru bless his soul,” read his post (roughly translated from Hindi).
