We are ready for this week’s SmackDown episode that has a lot of cool stuff in store for us. From the Money in the Bank qualifying matches to the long-awaited celebration of Triple H’s 25th anniversary with WWE, there are plenty of things going on at the Blue brand this week. WWE champion Braun Strowman and WWE SmackDown champion Bayley are expected to take part in disputes with their former friends, but most of the tension seems to be hidden right now. However, that will not be the case for long.

# 1 King Corbin faces Drew Gulak in the Money in the Bank qualifying match
In 2017, Baron Corbin earned the money at the bank. He planned to cash out his contract with Jinder Mahal, who was in a match against John Cena at SummerSlam. Unfortunately, Mahal took advantage of a slight distraction and pinned Corbin, who became the third fighter in WWE history to unsuccessfully cash out his MITB contract.
King Corbin will have another chance to win the MITB game as long as he beats Drew Gulak on this week’s SmackDown. Both superstars are set to take part in a qualifying match that will determine the fifth participant in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match 2020. But it’s safe to say that Gulak has more momentum on his side before this crucial match.
This year, Corbin fell out with Roman Reigns and was eventually beaten. After that, he had a brief altercation with Elias, but WWE had to disconnect that rivalry. Although Gulak is a rising superstar, thanks to his history with Daniel Bryan, WWE might prefer Corbin to enter the MITB match just to balance things out.
