The opposition leader in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and former chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, said on Saturday that he tested positive for coronavirus.
The BJP leader shared the information on his Twitter account.
“I’ve been working every day since the shutdown, but now it seems like God wants me to stop for a while and take a break! I have tested positive for # COVID19 and in isolation. Taking all medications and treatments as per the doctor’s advice, “he said.
“Those who have contacted me are advised to get tested for COVID-19. Take care everyone!” The former Maharashtra chief minister added in the tweet.
