Former New Zealand off-roader Scott Styris also has a lot of good words about Pooran and feels the IPL team should give him a bigger role. Styris feels that Pooran should beat the order to be able to play the majority of deliveries in the innings.
Stating that players like Pooran, who have never been seen in the IPL, need to have bigger roles for their sides, Styris added: “You need to move up, not quite to the top of the order, but you certainly get the most deliveries at the entrances “.
Kings XI Punjab will start their 2020 IPL campaign against Delhi Capitals led by Shreyas Iyer in Dubai on the fifth day of the tournament.
