Firoz Nadiadwala on the arrest of his wife Shabana Saeed by NCB: ‘The truth will come out’ – bollywood


Producer Firoz Nadiadwala responded to the arrest of his wife, Shabana Saeed, on Sunday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). While he did not comment on the drug charges, he appeared to suggest they were false. He said that ‘the truth will come out.’

On Sunday, the NCB arrested Shabana and four other people in its ongoing crackdown on drug use in Bollywood. In a raid on his home in Juhu, officials found 10 grams of marijuana. The other detainees are accused of being drug traffickers and suppliers.

Speaking to SpotboyE, Firoz said: “The truth will come out. Pray for me, bhai. ”However, he did not comment on the drug procurement allegations made against Shabana.

On Sunday, Sameer Wankhede, NCB area director, confirmed Shabana’s arrest to the Hindustan Times. She has been arrested under section 67 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). Firoz has also been summoned for questioning in the case.

Based on a tip, the NCB arrested Wahid Abdul Kadir Shaikh alias Sultan Mirza, who revealed Shabana’s name while being questioned. Then an NCB team arrived at his home in Juhu and conducted a search in the presence of two independent witnesses. 10 grams of ganja (marijuana) were recovered. Her statement was recorded, after which she was arrested.

The other three arrested are allegedly drug suppliers and their questioning is ongoing. “The operation is still going on; therefore, the names of the other three providers cannot be disclosed at this stage. We have seized commercial quantities of drugs from their possession, ”said Sameer Wankhede.

Firoz is a prominent Bollywood producer and has produced several films including Welcome, Welcome Back, Phir Hera Pheri, Aan: Men At Work, Awara Paagal Deewana, Ghar Ho To Aisa, and others.
