“Various social media account holders are monitoring the Mumbai police commissioner on different platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and are using abusive language against him and force. Therefore, an FIR has been registered against the holders accounts under 67 TI law. The accounts are bogus and we will take action against all those bogus account holders. The other FIR has registered against the culprit who used a transformed image from the official Twitter account of the Mumbai police commissioner recently . We have started the investigation in both cases, “DCP Rashmi Karandikar said.
