LUCK / BARABANKI: The Barabanki Police on Friday he filed an FIR against the owner of the ambulance that was used to transport the jailed gangster turned politician Mukhtar Ansari since Ropar Prison for Mohali Court in Punjab March 31st.
The FIR was filed by Additional Road Transport Officer (ARTO), Barabanki, Pankaj Singh against Dr. Alka rai de Mau, who has been accused of registering the vehicle with false documents.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the search of the ambulance was made by Dr. Rai de Barabanki on the basis of a false address test. Police said the vehicle was attached to a hospital in Mau, but was allegedly being used in Punjab to transport Ansari from jail to court.
In the FIR, Singh stated that a preliminary investigation was carried out after which it was learned that the ambulance (UP 41 AT 7171) was registered on December 21, 2013 in the name of Dr. Alka Rai and her address was mentioned as 56, Rafinagar in Barabanki. . He said the ambulance was attached to the Shyam Sanjeevni Pvt Ltd Hospital and Research Center in the Mau district.
“The eligibility and insurance of the vehicle have expired. His eligibility expired on January 31, 2017, after which the transportation department sent a notice to the owner on January 21, 2020 at the address registered in Barabanki, ”said Singh.
The ARTO said that a letter was also sent to the subdivisional magistrate, Nawabganj (Barabanki), to verify the address of Dr. Alka Rai mentioned on her voter identification card. The SDM conducted an investigation and found that house number 56 did not exist in Rafinagar.
“The local corporate and neighbors also confirmed that there is no such house number in Rafinagar. From then on, I approached the Kotwali Police Station and submitted an FIR in this regard, ”he said.
“A case has been filed against Dr. Alka Rai on charges of dishonesty, deception by identity theft, forgery of valuable security, forgery for the purpose of cheating, and use of a forged document as genuine,” said the police superintendent. , Barabanki, Yamuna Prasad to TOI.
“We will carry out an investigation to determine why the number used was from the Barabanki district and how the registration of false documents was carried out,” added the SP.
Dr Alka Rai, who is co-owner of the hospital and claims to be the secretary general of the women’s wing of BJP (Gorakhpur region), had confirmed on Thursday that documents were signed in 2013 on behalf of the hospital for the purchase of the ambulance.
Doctor alleges conspiracy, pleads for justice
Accusing her opponents of plotting a conspiracy to smear her image as a politician and social worker, Dr. Alka Rai said on Friday that she had no knowledge of the ambulance registered in her name and that she had never been to Barabanki in her life.
Addressing the media after an FIR was filed against him on Friday, Dr. Rai urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to guarantee him justice and said she was serving as a government physician when the incident occurred.
“I would like to ask why an FIR has been filed against me based on the version of a criminal. I am sure that the government of Yogi Adityanath will guarantee me justice,” she said.
In a letter addressed to the CM and senior administrative officials, he said that representatives of the then MLA (Mukhtar Ansari) had taken his signature for an ambulance on behalf of his hospital for social service. He claimed that he did not have an ambulance registered in his name.
