Filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife, Shabana Saeed, who was arrested by the Office of Narcotics Control on Sunday, was taken in for a medical examination. After a raid was carried out on the filmmaker’s residence, the NCB confirmed the drug recovery. “On Saturday, we carried out a big strike in Western Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, where we recovered commercial quantity marijuana, mephedrone and other different drugs. We also intercepted five street vendors and based on that, we drove and recovered some drugs this morning from their house, which was supposed to be part of the same seizure, “NCB’s Sameer Wankhede told ETimes.
