Indore: Filming of a movie starring Bollywood actress Vidya Balan reportedly stopped in Madhya Pradesh after she declined a minister of state’s dinner invitation.

Balan is currently filming in Madhya Pradesh for his upcoming film Sherni. He has been in the state for the past few weeks to shoot some scenes in the forest area.

The next film’s production team vehicles were reportedly prevented from entering a forest for filming, a day after the actress declined the invitation to dinner from Madhya Pradesh Foreign Minister Vijay Shah.

The Balaghat District Forest Officer (DFO) prevented team vehicles from entering the forest, saying that only two vehicles are allowed.

However, Shah rejected the accusations and said it was he who rejected the request.

“I was there (Balaghat) at the request of those who took permission to shoot and asked me to have lunch or dinner. I said it is not possible now, I will meet you when I go to Maharashtra. Lunch or dinner were canceled, filming was not, ”said ANI.
