NOIDA: Shots on the next Film city in Gautam Buddh Nagar you can start three to four months from now, senior government official Awanish Awasthi said Sunday, according to BJP MLA Dhirendra singh. Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and Information Awanish Awasthi inspected the site at the Yamuna Highway Sector 21 of the Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and instructed officials to soon submit a detailed project report (DPR).
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently approved a proposal to establish Film City on 1,000 acres of land along the Yamuna Highway near Noida.
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh tweeted in Hindi: “The additional chief secretary of the UP government, Awanish Awasthi, toured the proposed film city site in Yamuna Authority Sector 21. He said filming will begin at this location in 3 or 4 months. ”
YEIDA Special Duty Officer Shailendra Bhatia said Awasthi observed the connectivity and development of the road adjacent to the site and in nearby areas. “She also instructed YEIDA to prepare the DPR for the city of cinema.”
When asked when a DPR could be filed, Bhatia said: “As soon as possible.”
Awasthi, also chairman of Film Bandhu, the state government’s nodal agency for film-related activities, was accompanied by YEIDA Executive Director Arun Vir Singh during the site inspection. KIS TIR TIR
