Delhi’s borders with Haryana and Uttar Paradesh continued to be closed at various points on Monday due to protests from farmers.
The borders of the national capital with Uttar Pradesh in Chilla and Ghazipur remained closed on Monday for those coming from Noida and Ghaziabad.
The traffic police advised travelers arriving in Delhi from Uttar Pradesh to take routes that passed through Anand Vihar, DND Flyway, Loni DND and Apsara, borders that have mostly been unaffected.

Police have continued to check these border points for groups of protesting farmers who may try to sneak in, but they have only slowed traffic there a little, they have not choked or completely blocked the movement of vehicles.
Between Delhi and Haryana, the routes through Singhu, Tikri, Auchandi, Piau Manyari, and Saboli and Mangesh remain closed.
Traffic police said they have been diverting traffic from Mukarba and GTK Road. Motorists can choose other border routes such as the Delhi-Gurgaon and Delhi-Faridabad sections to travel between the two states.
